This week The Grecian Key Restaurant is featuring their Gyro Special on Tuesday and Thursday. Enjoy a delicious traditional Gyro for $5.50, for lunch or dinner, all day Tuesday and Thursday.
The Bridge, inside the Historic Yellowstone Hotel, will host Wine Tasting on Thursday beginning at 5pm. On Friday evening, they will welcome Rail City Jazz at 7pm. Enjoy dinner, drinks and live Jazz.
On Friday Old Town Pocatello will host the March First Friday Art Walk. Come enjoy art, music, food, fashion and more at this month’s Art Walk, from 5-8pm with free admission and free parking. The guide listing participating businesses will be posted at www.oldtownpocatello.com on Thursday.

The Thirteenth Annual Invitational High School Art Show will be held at the Pocatello Art Center on Friday, in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk, from 5-8 pm, with the awards ceremony at 7pm. This show features artwork from exceptional art students from Pocatello and the surrounding areas. It is sponsored by the Spaulding Foundation. Cash awards are given to winning art students along with encouragement for their future endeavors. The Art Center has written many letters helping art students obtain scholarships through the years. The show will be up the entire month of March.
Molinelli’s Jewelers will present the 2018 Idaho Bridal Fair on Saturday. If you are newly engaged or have a wedding coming up, be sure to register for the show at www.idahobridalfair.com. Admission is free and the show will be open from 10am to 4pm at the Red Lion Hotel Pocatello.
Portneuf Valley Brewing will host Soul Full of Blues on Friday evening. Southeast Idaho’s finest blues band returns with their soulful sound. Come drink, come dance, and come listen to Soul Full of Blues. The show starts at 9pm in the Loft, no cover.

Tickets are now available for the 8th Annual Gate City Brewfest, returning to Old Town Pocatello on Saturday, March 10th. Pouring will begin at 1pm and will feature over 75 craft beers. Kick off your Brewfest weekend with Comedyfest, a brand new event at Club Charley’s! The show will feature 5 comedians and starts at 9pm. $5 at the door gets you in to enjoy the event.
Eggciting Family Fun Easter Egg Eggstravaganza! Old Town is the place to be on Saturday, March 24! Participating merchants will have Easter Eggs filled with fun items for the kids beginning at 11am. The Easter Bunny will be here, too! Bring the family along with baskets to collect the eggs. Walk shop to shop collecting eggs and great coupons and specials from our merchants.
The Pocatello Art Center is offering a new class on April 14th called “Mandela Art.” The class will be taught by J. Brent Bowen of Malad. Mandela is a series of varying sizes and colors of paint dots on a black background in a design. The art makes a very striking image. The class is limited to 10 students so sign up early. The cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. The class will include all materials for the painting and will be held from 10am to 4pm. The Friends of the Marshall Public Library invite the public to their Spring Used Book Sale which will be held Thursday through Saturday, April 19-21. The sale will be held in the Marshall Library, 113 S. Garfield St., Pocatello.
Pocatello’s only 5K obstacle race is coming on Saturday, April 28th. Remax Country and Guild Mortgage present the 6th Annual Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge. This is a four person race, so grab your three most adventure seeking buddies and register your team to compete your way through Old Town Pocatello. Along the course you’ll encounter 20 crazy obstacles built by local businesses and organizations. Test your mettle against other invasive runners and win great prizes and bragging rights. The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will open their season on Saturday, May 5. The market will be open from 9am to 1pm every Saturday through the end of October.
