Start the New Year with a beginning photography class at the Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St. The four week class will begin on January 4 and continue on the 11th, 19th and 25th. Her Alibi Antiques will be open Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 5pm and on Saturday from 11am to 4pm. They will be hosting a Year-End Sale with many items up to 50% off. They will also consider reasonable cash offers on other items.
The First National Bar will feature Sherrod Parkhouse and the Blue Day Riders on Friday night. Hot Pursuit & Arvos will be live on stage on Saturday night. Both shows start at 9:30pm.
Club Charley’s will host a Pre-New Year Party on Saturday beginning at 8pm. On Sunday evening they will host their annual New Year Masquerade Party beginning at 8pm.
The Elks Lodge will be hosting a New Year’s Party on Friday beginning at 6pm and continuing throughout the evening. There will be live music, champagne, delicious food and a New York style ball dropping at 10pm. The general public is invited!
Portneuf Valley Brewing will feature The Relyx on Friday. Tom and Del Mendoza team up with John Young and Jay Eddy performing classic rock you can dance to. On Saturday night Shawn Barnby will perform a contemporary rock solo show. Both shows are in the Loft from 9 to 11:30pm with no cover.
