The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St., is open from 10am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. For the entire month of March they are displaying the High School Art Show. You are invited to stop and see all of the great art created by our area high school students. On Wednesday afternoons the Pocatello Art Center, is offering a new pay as you go photography class taught by Richard Albright. Learn to use your digital camera and have your photography questions answered by an expert. The class is from 1-3 pm every Wednesday, the cost is 12.50 per session. Just come to the Art Center and take the opportunity to improve your photography.
Portneuf Valley Brewing will host Red Hill Junction Jazz Ensemble on Friday and Hot Pursuit on Saturday evenings. Both shows start at 9pm with no cover. Arrive early to enjoy a wonderful meal and get a great seat.

Eggciting Family Fun Easter Egg Eggstravaganza! Old Town is the place to be on Saturday, March 24! Participating merchants will have Easter Eggs filled with fun items for the kids beginning at 11am. The Easter Bunny will be here, too! Bring the family along with baskets to collect the eggs. Walk shop to shop collecting eggs and great coupons and specials from our merchants.
The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market is pleased to announce their Spring Vendors Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 7. The meeting will begin at 11am at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St. Current vendors, please bring a potluck dish to share. The Market will be accepting new produce, agriculture and food vendors and those folks are welcome to attend the meeting and learn more about the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market. Spring is right around the corner and we are excited to bring our community another fun spring, summer and fall full of fresh local produce and more!
The Pocatello Art Center is offering a new class on April 14th called “Mandela Art.” The class will be taught by J. Brent Bowen of Malad. Mandela is a series of varying sizes and colors of paint dots on a black background in a design. The art makes a very striking image. The class is limited to 10 students so sign up early. The cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. The class will include all materials for the painting and will be held from 10am to 4pm. The Friends of the Marshall Public Library invite the public to their Spring Used Book Sale which will be held Thursday through Saturday, April 19-21. The sale will be held in the Marshall Public Library, 113 S. Garfield St.
Pocatello’s only 5K obstacle race is coming on Saturday, April 28th. Remax Country and Guild Mortgage present the 6th Annual Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge. This is a four person race, so grab your three most adventure seeking buddies and register your team to compete your way through Old Town Pocatello. The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will open their season on Saturday, May 5. The market will be open from 9am to 1pm every Saturday through the end of October.
