A beginning digital photography 4-week class starts this Thursday and continues on Thursdays this month at the Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St. The classes run from 5 to 7pm with instructor Richard Albright. This course will help students become comfortable with their digital cameras. The Bridge, inside the Historic Yellowstone Hotel, 230 W. Bonneville, will feature Rail City Jazz live on Friday evening beginning at 7pm.
The Pocatello Elks Lodge, 410 S. Main St., will feature the band “Hot Flash” from 6:30-9:30pm on Friday. The Lodge will be open to the public and all are invited to stop in for music, delicious food, cold drinks, good friends and good spring cheer.
The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market is pleased to announce their Spring Vendors Meeting will be held on Saturday. The meeting will begin at 11am at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St. Current vendors, please bring a potluck dish to share. The Market will be accepting new produce, agriculture and food vendors and those folks are welcome to attend the meeting and learn more about the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market. The Friends of the Marshall Public Library invite the public to their Spring Used Book Sale which will be held Thursday through Saturday, April 19-21. The sale will be held in the Marshall Library, 113 S. Garfield St., Pocatello.
