The Friends of the Marshall Public Library invite the public to their Spring Used Book Sale which will be held Thursday through Saturday. The sale will be held in the Marshall Public Library, 113 S. Garfield St.

The Bridge, inside the Historic Yellowstone Hotel, invites you to an evening of Jazz featuring Rail City Jazz on Friday. Enjoy a delicious meal while you enjoy live Jazz. Show starts at 7pm.
The First National, 232 W. Center, has three nights of live music planned this week. On Wednesday, Welcome To The Gates will visit The Nash with their show starting at 10pm. On Friday, the Tim Daniels Band will take the stage at 9:30pm. And, on Saturday night catch Perfect Chaos with their show starting at 10pm.
Rev up this Friday with the Whiskey Hangover Band, performing great classic rock and country at Portneuf Valley Brewing. Then on Saturday hop on in for the Opskamatrists, playing high energy ska that’ll really blow your socks off. Both shows are in the Loft from 9pm – 11:30pm, no cover. And don’t forget Trivia at 7pm on Monday and the acoustic jam session every Tuesday starting at 7:30pm.

The Pocatello Art Center has announced a new class, taught by Daav Corbet. The class is marketing yourself though social media, website and email. This will be a two day workshop for artists who want to learn how to market their art and personal websites. This class is free to Art Center members and $35 for non members. Dates for the workshop are April 24th from 7-9pm and May 1st from 7-9 pm. Bring your laptop, smart phone, or tablet. First class will cover the basics and provide a plan of action. Family Services Alliance will be presenting two nights of “The Vagina Monologues” at the Pocatello Elks Lodge on April 27 and 28. Performances begin at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at Family Services Alliance, 355 S. Arthur, for $15.00. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Pocatello’s only 5K obstacle race is coming on Saturday, April 28th. Remax Country and Guild Mortgage present the 6th Annual Urban Invasion Obstacle Challenge.
