There has been so much excitement and so many events happening in Old Town over the past couple of weeks that we have fallen behind in thanking those that make it all happen. It is very inspiring to live and work in a community with so many companies and individuals who invest in and support our beautiful downtown!

Thank you to the ISU honor students who have been completing service projects in Old Town over the past month. The first group of students helped set up The Great Pumpkin Festival. A second group has been featuring weekly events both on campus and in Old Town by creating eye catching sidewalk chalk announcements. The sidewalk announcements will continue through this month. The third group of students worked yesterday afternoon cleaning up and preparing our public parks and parking lots for winter. We are grateful for our relationship with ISU and love working with our Bengals!
The 10th Annual Haunted History Walking Tours are underway. This year to celebrate our 10th year, ticket holders will get to visit five haunted buildings in Old Town Pocatello, not just walk by them, but go inside to learn more about the history of the building and experience for yourself any haunted activity. Tour Dates include: October 19, 20, 26 and 27. Friday evening tours will begin at 7pm. Saturday evening tours will begin at 6pm. Adult Tickets $20, Young Adult Tickets (ages 8-14) $15. VIP Tours on October 27 include the regular tour plus a private investigation with SPIRO immediately following. Tickets are $50 for the VIP tour. Members of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd will be serving chili and hot dogs once again at the Old Town Pavilion during the event.
Registration is now open for November’s Christmas Night Lights Parade. Presented by ISU Credit Union, this holiday tradition will return to Old Town on Friday, November 23, the day after Thanksgiving.
