This is the last weekend for the 10th Annual Haunted History Walking Tours. Tickets for Friday night’s tour at 7pm and Saturday night’s tour at 6pm are still available. Adult Tickets $20, Young Adult Tickets (ages 8-14) $15. VIP Tours on October 27 include the regular tour plus a private investigation with SPIRO immediately following. The Pocatello Elks Lodge, 410 S. Main St., will have the band Hot Flash performing on Friday evening from 7-10pm to kick off the ISU Montana State football game weekend. The evening will include a Costume Contest, ghoulish games and evil elixers! Prizes for costumes along with a Chili Contest. Come down and enjoy great music, food, friendship, drinks, and cheer!

The Pocatello Co-op, 308 E. Center, will be hosting their monthly wine tasting on Saturday. This month they will be tasting a variety of wines from France. The ISU Humanities Cafe returns to Portneuf Valley Brewing (PVB) on Wednesday. Doors for The Loft open at 5:30pm with light appetizers prior to a discussion of the Trans Atlantic and African roots of jazz music led by professor Raphael Njoku of the Global Studies Department. He will be joined by members of Red Hill Junction to provide some examples of his presentation. The fantastic eclectic jazz band Red Hill Junction will also be performing Friday night at PVB from 8:30pm-10:30pm. Come for dinner and a show. Saturday night The Grace Notes will be gracing the PVB stage, also from 8:30pm-10:30pm. All shows are free and PVB is the place to be. This week they are featuring new mark downs on depression glass and Chevron cars. They have also just put out a new inventory of records for the collectors to browse. Club Charley’s will host “Nightmare on Center Street: The Asylum” on Saturday with doors opening at 8pm. Costume Contest, dancing, Gooey Gummies, Spooktacular Halloween drinks, and fun! $5 cover to enjoy the evening.
The Office Bar is hosting a Halloween Costume Party on Saturday beginning at 9pm. The night will feature special shot prices, slushy specials and more. The winner of the costume contest will win a $50 bar tab.
The 1st Annual Jim Dandy Halloween Costume Party is scheduled for Saturday beginning at 5pm. Put on your best costume, bring your friends, and celebrate with $4 pints all night! From 3-5:30pm visit participating merchants for treats during this daytime event. Members of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd will be serving chili and hot dogs once again at the Old Town Pavilion during the event.
Registration is now open for November’s Christmas Night Lights Parade. Presented by ISU Credit Union, this holiday tradition will return to Old Town on Friday, November 23, the day after Thanksgiving.
