Presented by ISU Credit Union, this holiday tradition will return to Old Town on Friday, November 23, the day after Thanksgiving. The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main, invites you to come learn everything about color and what it takes to create successful color harmonies in a one day workshop on Friday, November 16. Danene will take you through the nuts and bolts of color and how to successfully incorporate it into paintings. The workshop will emphasize identifying the value, intensity and temperature of color. The morning will be spent in a hands-on learning environment, mixing color combinations and ranges and in the afternoon students will paint from simple still lifes and photos incorporating what they have learned. Danene is a professional artist and experienced teacher. $65 for PAC members and $75 non-members.
